Some time ago in a land down under an idea popped into a writer’s head. POP! The idea grew and grew into lots of different ideas. The writer didn’t know what to do with all these ideas. Then one day she decided to ask herself some questions. She sat down in front of her computer and answered these questions one by one. Do you know what happened next? Well, a story was born from the answers. She decided to call it Starchild.
Below is a very short comic construction about how my book came to be written. I’ve done this to show you another avenue for creating stories. This is my version of a basic form of storyboarding. This would be classed as a first draft, drawing detail would be fixed and writing would be formatted to suit.
This funny little comic construction tells the story of how my book came to be written. It’s a fun way to create a cute little story about anything. You can even create a story about yourself! All you need is a beginning, middle and end. You get to draw… no computer graphics necessary at this stage. Just paper, pencil and eraser. No perfection necessary either!!! 🙂
